MARCUS WRAY

Marcus Wray writes like a man who has spent time in a car at 2AM with the radio low. Raised on Delta gospel and Sunday afternoon soul records, he built his sound in a converted garage studio outside Jackson before moving to Atlanta and cutting Nightline entirely independently. His records hold space — patient drums, warm bass, and a voice that never rushes the story.
